Programma della XVII edizione della Settimana della Lingua Italiana nel Mondo – Baku, 16-23 Ottobre, 2017

The Week of the Italian Language in the World

The Week of the Italian Language in the World is an international event aimed at promoting the Italian language as the representative language of the classical and contemporary culture. Every year, on the third week of October, the cultural and diplomatic network of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic organizes the event on a different topic, on which conferences, exhibitions, shows and meetings are based.

Born in 2001, by an agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Accademia della Crusca, under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic, the initiative has grown from edition to edition, involving, in addition to Italian Cultural institutes, also Embassies and Consulates.
